Weight Sensing Floor Mat

The weight-sensing Floor Mat reduces falls and unplanned departures by triggering a warning alarm when weight is placed on the mat. The mat can be placed along the side of a bed or in a doorway to alert the caregiver when their loved one attempts to leave bed or a room.

Each floor mat is made of heavy-duty soft vinyl and has been moisture sealed for long lasting durability. Weight Sensing Floor Mats can be used with a Wired or Wireless Monitor Unit via the Wireless Transmitter.

How the Unit Works:
Simply place the Weight Sensing Mat in a doorway, along a bed, or in another traveled location. When connected to a monitor unit, the alarm automatically engages the instant more than 1½ pounds of pressure is placed on the mat, before the person has a chance to fully slide out of bed or step through a doorway.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This sensor unit will not work without using one of the monitors below (each sold separately).
