Chair Sensor Pad

The weight-sensitive Chair Sensor Pad reduces falls and unplanned departures by triggering a warning alarm when weight is removed from the pad. This early warning system gives the caregiver time to respond before falls happen.

The Chair Sensor Pads are made of a soft, comfortable moisture-resistant vinyl, which can be easily and safely cleaned by using disinfectant wipes or an anti-bacterial cleaner. The pads should never be immersed in any solution. For safety reasons the Chair Sensor Pad should be replaced after the recommended pad life has expired.

The Chair Sensor Pad must be used with a Wired Monitor Unit (sold separately).

How the Unit Works:
The Chair Sensor Pad sets easily over any cushion. When connected to a monitor unit, the alarm automatically engages the instant weight is removed from the sensor pad, before the person has a chance to do more than get to their feet.
