Anti Wander Door Bar Exit Alert System, Professional Model
This “All in One” Anti-Wandering Door Bar System for professionals functions with just a door alarm and a resident wristband. Simply mount the door monitor alarm by any exit or doorway in your care facility, plug it in, and place wristband on resident. When a resident wearing a wristband attempts to wander too close or through the doorway, the door monitor alarm sounds audibly and visually.
The main system consists of three easy-to-use components; a door strip sensor and alarm unit, an anti-wanderer wristband, and a remote reset button that can be used to reset the alarm. The door strip detects when the anti-wanderer wristband comes within 8 to 14 feet and triggers an alarm; only the wristband triggers the alarm, so others can pass through the area without causing an alert. The active alarm is easily disarmed by simply pressing the reset button or waving the caregiver key over the door strip sensor.
The Professional Door Alert System also comes with an optional door contact switch that, when installed, causes the alarm only to sound when the wristband is in range
and the door is open. This cuts back on false alarms and allows the wearer of the wristband to walk by the door without sounding the alarm.
Simple Installation
1. Mount door bar
2. Activate transmitter
3. Test
4. Put wristband on resident

Using at a Facility
If you are using this system in a facility, monitoring several doorways and a larger number of patients, we recommend using the Central Monitoring Unit. This is a control panel typically kept at the nurses station that can be used to monitor up to 9 doors and up to 90 patients. The Central Monitoring Unit will alert you if a resident has opened a door. It can provide you with important details, such as which resident is trying to leave out of which door. The Central Monitoring Unit is sold separately and can be purchased using the drop down menu below.
Large Facility Packaging Suggestions:
Purchase as many of the Single Door Strips as needed - one system for each door needing to be monitored.
Purchase as many additional Wristband Transmitter(s) as needed - 1 wristband/transmitter per patient/resident. (Each door strip system includes one wristband transmitter).
Purchase the Central Monitoring Unit (sold separately) to allow you to monitor and track doorways and residents from one single location - will monitor up to 9 doors (door strips) and 90 patients (wristbands).
