EZ On Lateral Support Arm

This Lateral Arm Support provides restraint-free positioning. It controls lateral cleaning by stabilizing the torso. This device may be used on both the wheelchair and geri-chair.

The Lateral Support Arm is designed to help prevent lateral leaning. It also provides a convenient elevated armrest to facilitate arm use and rehabilitation.

Contoured trough provides comfortable armrest and optional self-releasing straps to stabilize the arm position.

FEATURES:

Useful for residents who lean laterally and/or require arm elevation.

Made of padded foam with contoured trough for arm to rest comfortably.

Includes a soft, wipe-clean nylon cover.

Interchangeable design fits either side armrest (left or right).

Fits most standard full arm length wheelchairs.

Self-releasing velcro straps may be used to maintain arm position.

Application:
The E-Z On Lateral Support may be used on either the right or left side or the chair.
1. Place the device over wheelchair or geri chair armrest. (Illustration A)
2. Seat the resident as far back in the chair as possible and place his/her arm in the trough.
3. The E-Z On Lateral Support may be used without the arm straps or with the straps if the patient requires them in order to keep his/her arm securely positioned in the trough.

Easy to Care For
The nylon cover wipes clean with spray and-wipe cleanser. A non-chlorine disinfectant may be used.
