2) Place the toilet seat on top of the toilet so that the center slides into the interior of the bowl.
3) Make sure that both flanges, one located on either side of the raised toilet base, fits within the rim of the toilet. A flange is a piece of plastic on the outside rim of the raised toilet seat and can be seen in the photo on the right side of the bowl
4) Slide the raised toilet seat back as far as it will go up against your existing toilet seat to help hold the unit in place.
5) The front adaptor peice simply slide in place and can be removed in the same manner.
Since this raised toilet seat is non-locking and does not use bolts for installation, it will have some room to move on the rim of the bowl. If balance assistance is needed to raise and lower yourself from the toilet, we recommend installing a locking type toilet seat or one that uses bolts that hinge in the back of the toilet. In addition, some models have arms to assist with raising and lowering yourself from the seat or you can install a toilet safety frame in conjunction with many of the raised toilet seats.
